ΑΠΟ ΚΑΤΩ ΑΠ’ ΤΟ ΡΑΔΙΚΙ

ΙΤΕ ΠΑΙΔΕΣ ΕΓΓΛΕΖΩΝ

Αγαπητά μου παιδιά,

Σπολάτι ! Σήμερον, ίτε παίδες Εγγλέζων, ίτε παίδες Καταλανών, ένας θα πάει τελικό. Σ’ αυτό το μοτίβο (που σημαίνει μόδα για τους παλαιότερους), ας προσευχηθώμεν άπαντες εις την λανθάνουσαν γλώτταν του Σακεσπύρου, ως κατωτέρω:

Having observed Christ’s Resurrection, we shall bow at Saint Lord Jesus, the only sinless;
We bow at Thy Crucifix o Christ and Thy Sacred Resurrection we hail and praise;
For Thou art our God; we do not recognise any other except Thee;
Go forth ev’ry faithful soul and bow at Christ’s Holy Resurrection;
For He hath eliminated Death by Death, suffering Crucifixion on our behalf.

Ναι σωστά. Είναι το «Ανάστασις Χριστού θεασάμενοι» κτλ.
Christ is resurrected ! (Indeed He hath)
